The difference is that
In dropshipping you earn money on by selling suppliers product with your markup, without purchasing the product. In affiliate marketing you sell a product or service and earn money on a percentage of income to supplier. That is the difference.

It is impossible to say with certainty which model is better – both there and there have their advantages and disadvantages. In affiliate marketing, your main responsibility is advertising, in dropshipping there are much more business processes that need to be paid attention to: products, suppliers, marketing, online store, customer support, payment system.
Traffic can be handled independently, but it will be extremely difficult for one person to organize and establish a stable dropshipping business. If you are just starting your way in Internet entrepreneurship, we recommend that you start to understand marketing or immediately find a partner who already has sufficient experience to organize a business.

If you have a lot of experience working with advertising tools and earn money from it, we advise you to test such a niche as dropshipping. If you don't have enough knowledge and experience in this field, find a partner and start studying the direction together, and then share responsibilities.
This way you will be able to find out which work model suits you best. Subsequently, you will be able to start working with partners who will take care of most of the advertising.
