I am thinking about spinning up a Wordpress instance on Vultr or Linode to use for my ecommerce sites. When someone places an order or fills out my contact form how will I get the email notifications since they block email ports? I am using GMAIL business email accounts for my email. So do I just install a plugin that sends me emails?

I am sure this is a very simple but I can't find anything that covers this.

Thanks for the help.

If you're running an ecommerce store, I'd highly suggest using a third party email provider, like Amazon SES or Postmark to deliver your transactional emails.

That way, you'll be more likely for them to arrive in the customer's inboxes than if you sent the email directly from the server.
WordPress has plugins for both Amazon SES and Postmark to make the configuration easy.

Use SMTP2Go been using them for a while now its a service for relaying mail they actually use both Voltr and Linode but have permission to send mail through them.
