Hello folks,

Is anyone aware of any Middle East based Cloud VPS providers? Linode and Digital Ocean both have Mumbai, India locations and of the big or 'reliable' providers the only one that seems to be opening Middle East data centre is AWS in Bahrain.

Does anyone know of any providers comparable to Linode or Digital Ocean offering linux servers in the Middle East?

GCP with Google premium network from the US to anywhere would be very fast to the middle east or India, and their pricing is not terrible. Latency is very low!

I will not say that there are many cloud servers that are physically located in the Middle East, but there are enough of them to satisfy the consumer. It is a pity that you did not provide any technical requirements, so I will write about those that I know.
https://wafaicloud.com/index.html - servers are located in the United Arab Emirates
https://www.lightnode.com/ - servers are located at 25 locations, but most are located in Dubai.
There is also a good company https://serverspace.ae/ It was originally opened in Dubai, but now there are representative offices in 40 countries of the world.

Stability, security and reliability is what makes Alibaba Cloud the original and best web hosting solution in the Middle East market. They have 61 Availability Zones in 20 different regions including Dubai and are expected to continue to grow. This means Alibaba Cloud gets bigger and better over time.

They have various impressive features, including:

13 data sources including Oracle
Super user friendly interface
Various web builders for non-specialists, including WordPress and Joomla.
24/7 technical support
DDoS protection to prevent attacks

If you want complete flexibility, Kamatera is probably a good option for you. Instead of plans with clearly defined resources, Kamatera allows you to customize your own webserver. You can choose the amount of RAM, CPU and storage you need without any restrictions. By default, you get unmanaged servers with full root access.

Although the provider offers remote server management services, they are quite expensive and may end up costing you more than the server itself. You can take advantage of cheaper and more advanced remote management options with many of the hosting providers, so Kamatera is best considered if you need an unmanaged server. But because of this, it is clearly not suitable for beginners.

All servers are equipped with powerful Intel Xeon processors, which should provide fantastic performance. With 14 data centers available worldwide, Kamatera is a great solution no matter where your target audience is located.

Liquid Web is focused on providing remote control services. Every cloud VPS plan is core-managed by default, meaning your server's OS and security will be fully configured and managed, but you'll still be doing most administrative tasks yourself. Your webserver will also be monitored 24/7 and if any issues are found, Liquid Web will fix them and get you back online.
For a small monthly fee, you can upgrade to a fully managed service, which is ideal for beginners as it includes all the support and assistance you need.

However, the biggest benefit for me was almost 100% uptime guarantee. Even the support team has a guaranteed response time, which is pretty impressive. If Liquid Web fails to deliver on any of its promises, you may be compensated in the form of service credits.
Liquid Web also offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on all of their VPS plans.

A2 Hosting provides both managed and unmanaged VPS services. However, the managed VPS plans caught my eye because of their many features and decent resource allocation.
Even the cheapest managed VPS plan comes with 160GB of SSD storage, 2 CPU cores, and 4GB of RAM, which is enough to get you started. The remote management services are quite extensive and include full support, software updates and advanced security features.

Unfortunately, A2 Hosting's managed plans are expensive. If you choose the unmanaged plan, you will save a huge amount of money, but then you will need developer knowledge to maintain the server yourself.
