Over the past three days, my hosting provider has been acting erratically. Firstly, the domain was blocked due to an "influx of search bots" which exceeded the processor load. The reason for this block was stated to be found in the "Statistics" section.

When I checked the statistics, the daily consumption of CP did not surpass 62%. I contacted the manager and was informed that there had been no excess and the restrictions were removed.

However, today the domain was once again blocked, this time due to a supposed "strong DDoS attack" on the site, and I was requested again to look into the excess load in the statistics section. Upon checking, I found that only 35% of the daily norm was consumed. Despite this, they refused to unblock the domain and forced me to connect to Cloudflare.

It's frustrating that they accused me of exceeding the daily CP load when nothing in the statistics indicates this, and the DDoS screenshots they provided were unhelpful. Have you ever had issues with your hosting provider?

Consider upgrading to a pricier tariff, you won't regret it. However, even after switching, you might still experience setbacks. Initially, they'll burden you with heavy loads, and if that fails, they'll resort to DDoS. If you insist on proof, they will block you without a second thought. It's not just your hosting provider engaging in such trade-offs; many others are too.

In such situations, they may suggest using Cloudflare as a workaround, which you can opt for to avoid further complications. Alternatively, increasing your tariff level could also be a solution if you're experiencing high traffic volumes. Do you have any advice on how to deal with unreasonable hosting providers?

I think it may be a problem with the technical equipment of the provider, the devices could be outdated and in order to hide it, he blames DDOS attacks. I advise you to either get rid of this provider, or increase the tariff as the person above said.

Similar situation, I had a lot of lags with my previous provider. Recently I came across prohoster, read reviews, decided to check it out. I have been using it for a month now, no lags, high speed and 2 weeks free period. I recommend prohoster.

Drawing from my personal experience, I can say that when we began working with CS, we relied on their recommendation to choose a webhost. Initially, we went for the basic tariff and things were okay for a few months, while we analyzed and filled out the necessary paperwork.

However, once we reached a thousand products and started trial advertising campaigns, the website became agonizingly slow, especially when uploading data. Even simple iterations with built-in imports failed and the website failed to meet SEO requirements, causing further delays. When we upgraded our hosting plan, it made little difference and even the work of four administrators was a hassle.

It wasn't until we downsized our product range to under ten thousand and switched to a budget-friendly option that things improved. We moved to zahid which was a 3-year contract and had four stores, and everything worked just fine. Have you ever faced similar issues while scaling up your business?

It's unfortunate when service providers accuse customers of exceeding resource limits without providing clear evidence or assistance. In situations like these, it's important to communicate your concerns clearly and request more specific information or clarifications from the hosting provider. Additionally, considering alternative hosting options or seeking recommendations from others who have faced similar challenges might help you find a more reliable provider.

Here are a few steps you can consider taking when dealing with issues with your hosting provider:

1. Document the incidents: Keep a record of all the communication, including timestamps, and any evidence or screenshots that you have regarding the issues you have encountered.

2. Request detailed information: Ask your hosting provider to provide specific details about the resource limits that were exceeded and how they determined the excess load. Request them to share any relevant logs, data, or statistics that support their claims. This will help you understand their perspective better.

3. Express your concerns: Clearly communicate your frustration and dissatisfaction with the situation to the hosting provider. Explain why you believe their accusations or actions are unjustified based on the available statistics. Be polite but assertive in expressing your point of view.

4. Seek clarification and solutions: Ask for clarification on the restrictions that were imposed and their reasoning. Inquire about potential remedies to the situation and request a plan of action to prevent such issues from recurring in the future.

5. Consider alternative options: If the issues persist or if you are not satisfied with the response from the hosting provider, it may be worth exploring alternative hosting options. Research and seek recommendations from others who have had positive experiences with different providers.
