Title: Domain term
Post by: Viktosha on Jul 02, 2022, 03:33 AM
Hello, tell me, please, is it possible to permanently register a domain in the zone (.com)? - If not, for what maximum period? And what will be required besides a passport for registration?

No, you can't for life. As far as I know, the maximum for the domain zone .com is a period of 10 years. You can then renew your registration. As a rule, no other documents are required for individuals, it depends on the registrar company. 8)

Domain registration .COM
.com is a common top—level domain for commercial organizations (currently used without restrictions).

a domain name can contain from 2 to 63 characters.
the domain must begin and end with a letter of the Latin alphabet or a number. Intermediate characters can be letters, numbers, or hyphens.

An extension is possible at any time for a period of 1-10 years.
The domain name is removed from delegation the day after the date specified in the "Expiration Date" field in the WhoIs service.
After the domain name is removed from delegation, there comes a period during which the client can renew the domain ("Grace period" - 30 days). The domain is deleted 5 days after the expiration of the renewal period.
