Predictably, once I listed my domain name on GoDaddy auctions (which was registered at Uniregistry), I received an email from GoDaddy requesting that I provide my personal TXT record. However, I do not have a domain on GoDaddy and tend to ignore unwelcome emails when I log in. Interestingly enough, I have never come across the Domain name Ownership Confirmation section they mentioned.

It seems like GoDaddy could be more clear and specific with their requests.

To verify your domain name on GoDaddy auctions, you can follow this link to https://godaddy.com/help/verify-my-godaddy-auctions-domain-41000 and then proceed to add the TXT record to your domain's DNS list at uniregistry using the instructions provided on https://www.uniregistry.help/hc/en-us/articles/115002338348-How-do-I-manage-TXT-records-.

It is important to ensure that the required steps are followed accurately in order to complete the verification process.

If you have GoDaddy's domain protection, you will be required to confirm your identity by entering a code. In case you have two-step authentication activated, you can simply check your mailbox for the required code. However, if you haven't enabled two-step authentication, then you can request a code by clicking "Send Password".

When you initiate an account change, the other party will receive an email regarding the upcoming change. It is important to note that the domain must be accepted within 10 days of receiving the notification.

If you choose not to copy contact information during the transfer process, then you may have to wait for a new email. Any changes made to the contact information will need to be manually approved.
