I am interested in using Box Billing, or a comparable solution, to enable customers to purchase goods and services and make payments. However, at present, I have only been able to find a 6-month subscription that is beyond my budget.
I would appreciate any suggestions for alternative solutions, or advice on how to pay the monthly fee of £5.95.

BoxBilling is now available as an open-source software solution that is entirely free of charge. Any information regarding pro licenses or related matters on the .com website is outdated and should not be considered. This information is misleading and will be updated shortly.
Current and accurate information can be found on the .org website as well as on GitHub.

BoxBilling is an intriguing script that has received minimal support, with only two updates released in the past year. The website's development activity may not be apparent for several months, despite claims of open-source preparation that have resulted in six months of unfulfilled promises.

but, there are positive aspects to BoxBilling, such as the ease of writing modules, its MVC architecture, and affordability (not entirely free). Additionally, the reseller program is decent, and the software is user-friendly.

On the downside, the primary issue is the lack of support. The $5 monthly charge for assistance can result in delayed ticket responses of up to 3-5 days, which is a significant disadvantage.
