I'm currently attending the SEDO auction, but my attempts to purchase a domain on both Bido and 4CN platforms have been unsuccessful. I wonder if anyone else is experiencing the same issue and what progress, if any, they are making in their search for domains.

Perhaps someone with expertise in evaluating sales websites could offer some insight into why my attempts have been unsuccessful thus far.

On another note, I recently received an offer for my CloudMacau.com domain, but the amount offered fell short of my expectations after an entire week had passed.

Interestingly enough, there is now a great website dedicated to education in Macau that I believed was taken over by the cаsino industry. It's funny how the thoughts and actions of end users can be difficult to predict.

In my personal experience, it's always a good idea to list your domain on all possible platforms as a precautionary measure. I personally use Cax, Afternic, Sedo, and DNS to cover all my bases.

However, it's important to keep in mind that 95% of the potential audience that may come across your domain on these platforms are fellow domainers like ourselves. Real end users typically only stumble upon my domains via GoDaddy (often through their buy service) without any redirects to other websites.

Of course, if I were to redirect my domains to Sedo, there's a chance that end users might make offers through that platform. This is especially relevant when the domain name serves solely as a landing page. In any case, it's always wise to consider all options and weigh the pros and cons before making a decision.

It's always preferable for a domain name to be held by a trustworthy individual or organization that specializes in selling domains, like BuyDomains. In contrast, an individual owner who cannot be reached through faulty contact information or simply refuses to sell can be frustrating and lead to a dead end situation.

In these cases, the domain remains inactive and does not benefit anyone; neither the owner (as the parked registrar page generates advertising revenue) nor the visitors can benefit from it.

In my experience, most squatters are reasonable and open to negotiating prices. Western owners even tend to justify their asking prices. Although, it's important to note that less experienced owners may try to overvalue their domains out of a desire to not appear cheap. Ultimately, finding a reliable and communicative owner is key to acquiring the right domain at a fair price.

It's unfortunate that you've been unsuccessful in purchasing a domain through the Bido and 4CN platforms. It's not uncommon to encounter difficulties in acquiring domains, especially during auctions where competition can be fierce. It could be helpful to reach out to others attending the SEDO auction to see if they are experiencing similar issues and to share your progress in the search for domains.

As for your CloudMacau.com domain, receiving an offer that falls short of your expectations is not uncommon. It's important to carefully consider the value of your domain before accepting any offers. If you feel the offer is too low, you can try negotiating or waiting for a better offer.

Regarding the website dedicated to education in Macau, it's interesting how user behavior and trends can sometimes surprise us. The evolution and change of online platforms and industries can be unpredictable, making it challenging to anticipate user actions accurately.

If you're looking for insights and expertise in evaluating sales websites, you might consider reaching out to individuals or communities knowledgeable in the domain industry. They may have valuable advice and strategies to better navigate the buying and selling process.
