Our experience with Liquid Web hasn't been satisfactory and we feel it's time for a change.
Can you suggest some other reliable and responsive managed hosting companies for dedicated servers? We appreciate your help.

It seems that there is a rise in hosting companies that provide in-house customer support, possibly due to the decline in support quality at Liquid Web. Unfortunately, calling their support hotline no longer yields positive results and the support staff may not possess the necessary skills to assist with issues. Instead, they open a ticket which can be a source of frustration for customers.

Are there any hosting companies out there that still offer in-house customer support and are able to assist with issues on the spot, rather than outsourcing the support to third-party vendors?

The size of a hosting company can impact their priorities and workflow, particularly as they grow larger.
It may be worth considering switching to a smaller provider as they often prioritize excellent customer support and may be able to provide a more personalized experience. As they continue to grow and expand, they can maintain their focus on customer satisfaction, leading to continued success in the industry.

Have you tried a smaller provider, like webflow or WP engine? They aren't really common but being used often. Quality is quite good. You may also try cloudways or hostwinds if those won't fit you.

I see that they advise you to work with Webflow. I agree, he's really cool. But, unfortunately, it has disadvantages that can sometimes interfere with work. One confusing system of tariff plans is worth something.

Here are some alternative ways to express the same ideas:

1. Bigscoots is a good option for those seeking multiple project hosting at a low cost per project, with concise plans and helpful support. However, new users should be prepared to demonstrate a high level of dedication and shared hosting plans come with an account specialist to monitor services.

2. Dreamhost offers flexible pricing based on your specific needs, with an hourly pricing model and additional services such as marketing, website management, custom web design, and SEO marketing. Their commitment to accessibility and quality make them a great option for those seeking cloud hosting solutions.

3. MassiveGrid is a well-known cloud hosting brand that specializes in PaaS and SaaS application hosting with high availability. They may be more technical than some other options, but their scalability and solid foundation are ideal for cloud computing enthusiasts.

4. Bluehost is a WordPress-focused hosting provider with well-optimized servers, managed services, and a focus on quality over quantity. Their shared virtual private servers and dedicated hosting services also offer great value.

5. GoDaddy is a popular web hosting company that offers a diverse range of high-quality services for small business owners. While their plans have fewer resources and less scalability, their boutique-managed VPS plans provide reliable support and automated backups.

6. HostGator is a budget-friendly option for managed VPS hosting, with easy scalability as your website grows in popularity or complexity. Their plans may not be as well-equipped as other providers, but they serve as a great introduction to the world of VPS hosting.
