Hi,
I understand that free web hosting has its limitations. However, since my website is a simple one with just HTML, CSS and JS, and I don't expect to have many visitors as it's only for job hunting purposes, do you have any recommendations for a reliable and secure web host?

I'm not sure if you're still searching or if you've already found a solution. Nevertheless, there are numerous companies that provide free hosting services, many of which are available online on WHT. You can test out a few of these options or contact them directly to inquire if they have what you need. Wishing you all the best in your job search!

To search for a job, I advise you to use hosting with as few advertisements as possible on the page. The first thing that comes to mind is Awardspace, which I think is perfect: no ads + PHP and MySQL support. What else do you need to get started? ::)

Thanks, will have to try.
Does it support advanced DNS management in the free version,
custom records: A, MX, CNAME, TXT, index of domain redirects, forwards and parkings, SSL certificate? Or will you have to pay extra for it?
Are there any restrictions on the number of requests to MySQL, restrictions on SMTP?

Ucoz offers more than just website building. It provides the ability to create landing pages, online stores and other resources, and then hosts them on its own servers. However, there are certain limitations with the free version, such as the inability to store a site larger than 400 MB or create an online store. Additionally, users have reported less than satisfactory support from Ucoz's team who tend to respond with template phrases. Furthermore, if a website doesn't have any visitors in 40 days, it will be deleted.

On the other hand, 20i offers favorable features and compatibility such as 10 GB of SSD space, 1 GB of MySQL database, and 10 GB of mail. Plus, the service supports green energy with all its servers powered by renewable energy sources. However, the downside is that the service doesn't provide free domain names, which will need to be purchased or linked to an existing one.

Freehosting.com offers completely free web hosting but has its own list of endless restrictions. The hosting cannot be used for fraudulent materials, publishing plagiarism, storage or a p2p network, HTTP downloads except where files are directly related to the subject of the resource, and discrediting others or violating the law. To register, an email and phone number are required, with no need to specify payment methods if selecting "none."

I also thought about it, I also want to post my portfolio. So far from what I found -
Hostinger.com and Beget.com. But I haven't tried them in the case yet, I hope there are no ads there. In general, I decided that I would upload my portfolio to Github - at least, the link will already open.
