Inquire further from the experts. Is the demand made by the customer to enhance the site's discoverability via search engines and amplify its profitability metrics a valid requirement for the designer to refine the visual design of the site? The boss shares these expectations in general. Thus, do you believe that these demands are reasonable for a designer, or does this fall more under the purview of an SEO specialist?

I believe that each professional should focus on their specific tasks. The designer's role is to enhance the site's appearance by creating appealing content, while the SEO specialist is responsible for optimizing its discoverability in search engines.

Consider the example of an art gallery that experiences a decrease in revenue. In response, the administration decides that the main issue is the building's exterior appeal and therefore assigns an abstract painter to revamp the facade. They also require the painter to perform other menial tasks such as fixing benches, cleaning paths, and repairing faucets. Will this approach make the gallery more successful?

No, it will not. Instead of assigning irrelevant tasks to an artist, the administration should have focused on understanding the root cause of the problem and assign relevant tasks to the appropriate professionals. Every job requires a particular set of skills, and delegating them accordingly is crucial for achieving success.

Undoubtedly, web design and SEO are essential components of marketing. The combination of a high-quality website design and successful SEO promotion can achieve greater results than using these tools separately.

The visual appeal of a website is crucial in determining its overall success. Simultaneously, search engine promotion is dependent on the website's user behavior. Web design caters to creating a user-friendly interface, and SEO targets search engines' requirements. The first step is to attract users to the website, making it alluring to search engines.

Google's implementation of mobile-first indexing makes having a mobile-friendly website compulsory. This change was made due to the increasing number of internet users accessing the web through mobile devices. Websites should cater to both desktop and mobile users while focusing on meeting user requirements.

Successful online marketing requires a website with responsive and adaptable designs that cater to the needs of every device. Hence, it's essential to consider all aspects, such as web design and SEO, while developing a site.
