There's a hosting provider that goes by the name starting with "major". I used to have about 150 sites hosted there, but two years ago I moved some of them to other providers. Overall, I was happy with the cost and the stability of my websites.

Recently, there seems to be a new effective manager who introduced a paid "antivirus" scanning service called Revision. However, I kept receiving reminders to connect to the full package of services and pay without questioning.

I ignored the email and on December 1, all the sites on one of the servers were infected with a virus. This seems unusual since the code was not linked to any hacked plugins. It begs the question, do they not care about their clients? This is a serious issue and could be considered criminal if you follow the chain of infection.

In the end, the pursuit of money will ruin the business. Whoever introduced such conditions should take full responsibility, and it's likely that law enforcement officers will step in to deal with this issue.

Spread this information widely: "Vote by bucks."
They will eventually disappear on their own. Prepaying large amounts of money is always risky because even though it may lead to some savings, the potential losses can be significant. Should you sue them? It may not be worth your time and effort, especially if the virus disappears and all the evidence disappears with it.

I know from personal experience since I used to keep a resource there for a long time, but even they started raising their prices before I took my business elsewhere. It's essential to keep an eye out for service providers who prioritize their bottom line over quality and integrity.
