Greetings,

I have created a website that contains 50% product reviews and 50% informative articles in the health and fitness niche, but not specifically medical.
Unfortunately, my articles are not ranking within the first five pages of Google search results. How much time does it typically take for Google to rank websites or articles?

After the November Google update, indexing has slowed down significantly and websites worldwide are being affected. John Mueller has stated that this is a long-term update and therefore there is no need to panic and overdo SEO efforts.

Instead, focus on building quality backlinks from sources such as GP and HARO and utilize social media for effective social sharing to reach relevant audiences. It's important to note that social sharing is a great way to improve your article's ranking, as it ensures your content is reaching your audience. Additionally, social gestures can have a positive impact on your ranking in Google's eyes.

Numerous sources indicate that the average duration for a website to rank on Google using SEO techniques is between three to six months. This means that it usually takes 90-180 days to appear in the top search results of Google, depending on factors such as the competitiveness of your industry and the popularity of your keywords.

I am frequently asked about the time it takes for a new article to rank on Google, or when a website will land on the first page of Google search results. Unfortunately, there is no clear-cut answer as various factors influence SEO and ranking.

The two most significant ones are 'link juice' and 'age.' Link juice refers to the strength of your internal linking structure. On the other hand, the age of your website is another crucial factor affecting your ranking speed. These two factors appear to be ranked the highest in determining how quickly websites can rank on Google.

It seems to me that a lot depends on whether "Google likes your site or not." And then my pages of one site were indexed at a speed of 200 pages per day, and the second - 10-20.

Hello. With the question "How long for Google to rank sites/articles these days?", you didn't quite get it right. You understand that in addition to uniqueness, there are a lot of factors that Google pays attention to. Relinking and increasing activity through social networks has not been cancelled. If your article gains the required number of signals, then it gets into the top 100, and then there is an increase in mass. From my own experience, I can say that the first indexation takes place in 30-90 days, and the second one after 45 days.

Instead of focusing on specific keywords, creating content dedicated to specific web topics has become a priority. The Google algorithm now interprets sites to find results for users. To stay relevant and up-to-date, valuable content based on the principles of SEO optimization must be created.

The Hummingbird update prioritizes the target audience's needs and their path to purchase. Additional tools should be used to explore keywords and topics requested. Keywords should be included in a natural way in text, including H1 and H2 tags. Semantically related keywords should also be periodically used. Metrics such as traffic, engagement, and impact on conversions should be monitored to adjust the strategy in the future.

The Google algorithm recognizes the quality of content, and keyword stuffing is no longer effective. After the update, keywords became a negative ranking factor. Search rankings cannot be manipulated by reusing words or phrases.

Today's SERP articles have "natural" headlines that read easily and organically, and meta descriptions include text on a given topic. Google lowers the ranking of pages filled with an unnecessary number of keywords.

To rank a website, the Google algorithm relies on the structure of the text and the natural introduction of keywords into the text. Entering identical keywords in the text, heading, and subheadings is not a reliable way to achieve high ratings. Creating helpful content with organic keywords is the best way to increase the chance of a high position in search results.

The time it takes for Google to rank websites or articles can vary depending on several factors, such as the competition in your niche, the quality and relevance of your content, the level of optimization on your website, and the overall authority and trustworthiness of your domain. Generally, it may take anywhere from a few weeks to several months to see an improvement in rankings. However, keep in mind that ranking on the first page of search results requires consistent effort in creating high-quality content, building relevant backlinks, and optimizing your website for search engines. Patience, persistence, and continuous improvement are key in achieving better rankings over time.

In addition to the factors mentioned earlier, there are a few more aspects to consider when trying to improve your website's ranking on Google. First, make sure your website is technically optimized for search engines by utilizing SEO best practices such as optimizing page load speed, ensuring mobile-friendliness, and optimizing meta tags and headers.

Next, focus on creating high-quality, engaging, and informative content that adds value to your readers. Conduct keyword research to identify relevant and popular keywords related to health and fitness. Use these keywords strategically in your content, including headlines, subheadings, and within the body of the text.

Building backlinks is another crucial aspect of improving your rankings. Seek opportunities to earn backlinks from reputable and relevant websites in the health and fitness industry. This can be done through guest posting, collaborations, or creating unique and shareable content that naturally attracts backlinks.

Consistency is key. Regularly update your website with fresh content to show search engines that your website is active and relevant. Promote your content on social media platforms and engage with your audience to attract more traffic and increase your website's authority.

Lastly, keep an eye on your website's analytics and performance metrics. Monitor your rankings, traffic sources, and user engagement to identify areas for improvement and adjust your strategy accordingly.

Content Quality
Keyword Competition
Backlinks
Website Authority
Technical SEO
Google Algorithm Updates
