Looking for alternative to RSYNC.NET - offsite backup

Hello,

I use the rsync.net service in the last years, but in the last 6 months the up/down speed is very bad. I'm talking about kb/sec, it doesn't reach 1 mb/sec.

I already called the support, they never solve. Slowness happens in multiple data centers, no matter where I try to upload it from, the speed is low. In some hours of the day it goes well, but 70% of the time the speed is impractical.

At rsync.net I have a cost of $ 0.025 per gigabyte, that is, $25.00 per 1Tb and I currently use 4 to 5Tb.

I am looking for some alternative, with good speed for Hivelocity Tampa. I don't want this backup inside Hivelocity itself.

I need a solution that allows me to have multiple sub-accounts, each with its own disk quota.

I even think of a simple dedicated, with 5Tb storage, it would be enough, the problem is the cost does not exceed (much) what I already paid at rsync.net.

If anyone knows of alternatives, I appreciate the information.

Thanks.

I suppose you could buy a server with about 5TB in RAID 1 and colocate it for about $75 to $100 per month, outside Florida. I'd suggest a location that isn't going to be at risk due to hurricanes, tornadoes and floods.

It might cost you a bit more than that if you go with better bandwidth and a faster port.

There are a few I know of but your monthly bandwidth is too high for them.

Maybe a dedicated server from Hetzner server bid in Raid 0. They includee unlimited bandwidth. You may need to hire an admin to set up the server though.

I offer you a good alternative to rsync.net - IDrive Personal.com. They offer 10 TB of space with high throughput from 4 to 50 Mb/s. The cost is $4 per month. There are backups and cross-platform support.
If that's not enough, then take a look at Backblaze.com. They have no restrictions on the amount of free space. The price is $0.021 GB/Month. The price is higher, but the speed is much higher.
There is also acronis.com, which provides 5 TB. Price $65 per year.
