Do you know of any VPS hosting options that allow for additional IP addresses to be connected? I'm hoping to find an affordable option. Could you explain why multiple IP addresses might be necessary and offer your opinion on the matter?

One reason I've heard is that separate IPs are needed for accounting and statistics purposes. Do you agree with this? Moreover, if I were to host multiple sites on the same IP, what issues could potentially arise?
