Could you inform me about the availability of VPS/VDS hosting for mass emailing to subscribers from a reputable source?
I am aware that subscribers can be occasionally unreceptive.

Contemplating this, I am interested in learning about choices for such hosting with an accepting attitude towards mass mailings. The virtualization must be KVM.

Amazon SES is a feasible option as they permit up to 62000 emails a month at no additional cost, and possess features to handle bounces. One major advantage is their credibility as the largest and most reliable provider, lowering the chances of your emails going into spam folders. This is vital, right?

However, it's worth noting that their API and descriptions could use improvement.

On another note, I recently acquired a new VPS from DO with a unique IP, only to discover that it was already blacklisted. Unfortunately, spammers can exhaust IPs and once they get blacklisted, the hosts quietly sell them to unsuspecting customers like ourselves. It's a vicious cycle.

Currently, these services are offered with prudence. Despite 95% of spammers stating that they conduct legitimate send-outs, they often blame being hacked following their suspension. This poses additional strain on the provider.

It's preferable to be wary of such customers rather than dealing with a spamhouse and handling their nonsense. It's better to err on the side of caution when it comes to spamming.

When it comes to VPS/VDS hosting for mass emailing, there are several reputable sources that offer this service. However, it's important to note that many hosting providers have specific limitations and policies surrounding mass email marketing to prevent spam.

That being said, there are some hosting providers that have an accepting attitude towards mass mailings, as long as they comply with anti-spam regulations and best practices. One option is to look for hosting providers that specialize in email marketing or have dedicated email marketing plans. These providers often have specific features and infrastructure in place to handle large volumes of emails.

As for the virtualization requirement, KVM (Kernel-based Virtual Machine) is a popular virtualization technology that provides full virtualization capabilities for hosting environments. Many hosting providers offer KVM-based VPS/VDS hosting options, so you should be able to find a suitable solution that meets your requirements.

When selecting a hosting provider, it's essential to review their terms of service, acceptable use policies, and anti-spam regulations to ensure that your mass email marketing activities align with their guidelines. Additionally, consider the reputation of the hosting provider and check for any reviews or feedback from other customers who have used their services for mass mailings.

Even with an accepting attitude towards mass mailings, it's crucial to maintain good sending practices, including obtaining consent from subscribers, providing clear opt-out mechanisms, and following anti-spam regulations to avoid potential deliverability issues and negative consequences for your sender reputation.
