Hi guys.

Can you advise how to solve this problem: there are a large number of articles on a site running Wordpress (a few months), which need to replace the thumbnails.

How can it be implemented?

The image of the record, in the sense?
And what do you mean, replace? Recreate with a different size, or change to a different size?
If so, then via FTP - it will be faster.
Address: domain/wp-content/uploads. There it all lies.

In all WP entries for a certain period, replace the photos in the thumbnails with one.
I mean, different images to one. The other images should remain unchanged.

The solution is pretty straightforward.
In the WP template ( theme):
if if { (a certain period), then one photo },

else { as is }
There, that's how it will work somehow.

The Optimole image optimization plugin is simple but powerful. This is a plugin designed to optimize your images, where it also works as a lazy loader that speeds up the loading of your site by optimizing your images.
With this plugin, you can easily replace image URLs on your website with URLs generated in the cloud, bypassing the need to use URLs generated on your website.

As a result, changes in the size and quality of your images are saved when the compressed image is compressed. All photos on your site will be cached monthly by Optimole for you to help you improve the accessibility of your site because of this.
The proprietary technology of this plugin for pages with increased speed can detect Retina screens and provide images in a pixel-perfect format. In other words, this plugin can create pixel-accurate images that respond to any screen size, because your images will automatically scale and display instantly.

The Speed Up plugin will not only help you improve the performance of your website by reducing the loading time of images and frames, but also optimizes the loading speed of images on your site.
There are no configuration requirements, and basically it starts working after installation, so regardless of whether it is configured correctly or not, the plugin can be installed quite simply.

There is no doubt that Speed Up is a great plugin for blogs and websites that provides lazy loading of images and frames. For users who need stricter control over how the plugin handles the download process, we recommend finding another plugin.
