I own a website similar to gumbetcrb.com where I cannot upload any pictures or add an excel document, and it isn't displayed properly.
I am interested in designing a new website and wondering if WordPress is a good engine or if you have any other suggestions?

In terms of functionality, WordPress is considered too basic and also somewhat limited. It can be viewed as just a news feed with the option to add information pages.
Although WordPress offers an atypical grouping that may be fitting for certain publications, it does not allow for group customization.

WordPress is a good engine for beginners, it is very simple but the functional is quite small and you will have much more options and opportunities if you create an html site instead.

WordPress is a very good software product which is very useful if you want to create a blog, restaurant website or any other website. The disadvantage of WordPress is that there is a large load on the server due to this low speed, a WP site can easily start to slow down and put a significant load on the server. Unoptimized code, as well as some other things like unoptimized images, can significantly slow down page loading speed.

WordPress is the leading free engine for web development and management due to its simplicity and availability of themes and plugins that can accomplish almost any task. It allows for the creation of a wide range of online resources from personal blogs to online stores. However, optimization is important for weaker web hosting to ensure proper functionality.
While the advantages include easy installation, a user-friendly interface, and the ability to develop sites without programming knowledge, some plugins may be incompatible with each other causing issues.

CMS.S3, developed by Megagroup, has closed source code making it difficult to modify as needed. While it can be used to create business card websites, its admin panel can be complicated to navigate.

OpenCart is a ready-made open-source CMS for creating online stores with a simple architecture that is perfect for beginners. However, certain modules may not work with each other, and compatibility issues can arise during updates.

Drupal is one of the most functional and productive CMF frameworks due to its open-source nature and flexible architecture, which allows for the creation of various types of web sites. It is geared towards professional programmers and offers a multitude of modules for web site customization.

WordPress is a popular and powerful content management system (CMS) that can be a great choice for designing websites. It offers a wide range of themes and plugins that can help you create a visually appealing and functional website. However, it's important to note that WordPress might not directly solve the issues you mentioned with your current website.

To address the problem of not being able to upload pictures or add an Excel document, you would need to investigate the limitations of your current website's platform and hosting provider. If those restrictions cannot be resolved, switching to a new CMS like WordPress could offer more flexibility in terms of media handling.

If you decide to go with WordPress, consider finding a theme that suits your needs and make use of relevant plugins to add the functionality you desire. Additionally, ensure that your chosen hosting provider supports WordPress installations and meets the requirements for running it efficiently.

Ultimately, the best choice for your website depends on various factors, such as your specific requirements, budget, technical expertise, and desired level of customization. It may be helpful to consult with a web developer or designer to discuss your options and determine the most suitable solution for your needs.
