I'm looking for a new hosting service because the one I currently use, after many years working perfectly, has new owners and is starting to decline (surely you know the story ...).

Currently I pay just over 100 dollars/month for a dedicated server for some WordPress sites with not many visits except for some days when I can have quite high activity spikes that come from viral articles on social networks. I need a dedicated server that can withstand those spikes in visits, reliable and good support service.

I've had a look at some related old forum posts, but things change, I would have recommended my current hosting myself a few months ago, so I'm looking for fresh opinions.

What is your advice?

Whats is your detailed requirements(location, managed / unmanaged, cPanel/DA, backup and other options)?

I advise you to study the offers from these hosting providers: Bluehost, DreamHost, CloudWays. In my opinion, they are the most reliable. Among the available rates, you can find the best offer for a dedicated server for WordPress.

Web hosting is a competitive industry. Hosting companies do their best to win new customers. Many hosting providers, including some great ones that I recommend, provide free site migration services to new customers. All you have to do is request a migration after signing up with a new provider and their support team will take care of everything.

In most cases, this is the preferred way, so you can save time and focus on other important work on your website.

Here is what you need to do if you are going to use this option:

1. Sign up with a web host that offers free site migration.

2. Request a website transfer and provide detailed information about it.
Submit a transfer request from your new web host. Usually all you have to do is provide login details on the old host - hostname, control panel login, FTP login, etc.; and your new web host will take care of the rest.

Fozzy, beget, all hosts have technical support. Call, ask, I think they will be able to tell you whether it will hold up or not. My personal opinion is the best of them is Beget. Technical support responds at any moment, work quickly. Relatively inexpensive, provided the quality of hosting. Keeps the load without any problems. Even if there is a peak, they do not ask for money for it. They just ask to reduce it. That's where it ends. I recommend it.
