What is a recommended hosting/storage/cloud service for storing videos on a movie website?
The website is built on DLE and requires video storage. Initially, I considered Google Drive which costs $3/month for 1TB, but it doesn't seem suitable. Can you suggest an alternative storage solution (which can be paid) that has a player similar to Google Disk?

Dedicated in the Netherlands or any other reliable provider can be used to host a website without experiencing any issues.

When it comes to caching through CloudFlare, it can significantly reduce the amount of traffic and server load. However, in cases of extremely high traffic, CloudFlare may request payment of over $130. Despite receiving 50-70 terabytes per month, we have not yet been asked to pay.

I am familiar with boomstream.com.

For those who have large volumes and high traffic, the service may become costly. In such cases, it would be more profitable to have a personal server. However, it's unclear whether boomstream.com offers customized pricing for users with large volumes.

On the other hand, if the volumes are not significant, then boomstream.com might be an excellent option with reasonable pricing.

My suggestion is to go with a fresh option. The technical assistance provided is exceptional with a rating of 5 stars or above.

In terms of software options, consider using Inferno Solutions' Portal. It's a reliable choice that offers efficient solutions.

By the way, currently there's a limited-time offer of a 25% discount on the Jumanji code!

Given that the website is built on DLE (DataLife Engine), a robust solution for video storage and playback is essential. While Google Drive may seem cost-effective at first glance, it may not offer the necessary features for hosting and streaming videos seamlessly within the DLE framework.
One alternative worth exploring in greater detail is Amazon S3 (Simple Storage Service). Amazon S3 provides highly scalable, secure, and durable storage infrastructure designed to handle large volumes of video content. It also offers low-latency data access, making it ideal for serving high-quality video streams to website visitors. Moreover, Amazon S3 can be seamlessly integrated with a variety of content delivery networks (CDNs) to optimize video delivery across different geographic regions.

In terms of video playback, it's crucial to select a player that not only meets the technical requirements but also aligns with the website's visual identity. Two noteworthy options are JW Player and Video.js. These players offer customizable, feature-rich solutions for embedding videos directly into web pages. Advanced capabilities include adaptive streaming support, compatibility with multiple video formats, and extensive customization options to ensure a cohesive visual experience for website visitors.

When evaluating the cost of a storage solution, it's essential to consider not only the base storage fees but also any associated data transfer costs. For Amazon S3, pricing is based on the amount of data stored and the number of requests made. Therefore, conducting a thorough estimate of anticipated usage patterns is key in order to project potential costs accurately.
