Looking for hosting that has 900GB or more of space for static files like images. Don't need much RAM or CPU power, and PHP is not necessary. Just need a way to provide images via URL.
Can someone recommend a place that doesn't cost $400 per month but is more affordable?

One option that comes to mind is Amazon S3. Now, I know what you're thinking - "Isn't Amazon Web Services (AWS) expensive?" And to that, I'd say, not necessarily. S3 is a highly scalable and durable storage solution that can be quite cost-effective, especially if you're only serving static files. You can store your images in S3 buckets and serve them directly via URL. The pricing model is based on the amount of storage you use, and it's quite competitive. For 900GB of storage, you're looking at around $25-30 per month, depending on the region you choose.

Another option worth considering is Microsoft Azure Blob Storage. Similar to S3, Azure Blob Storage is a scalable and secure solution for storing and serving static files. The pricing model is also based on storage usage, and for 900GB, you're looking at around $30-35 per month. Plus, Azure has a free tier that includes 5GB of storage, so you can try it out before committing to a paid plan.

If you're looking for a more traditional hosting provider, you might want to consider Cloudways. They offer a range of hosting plans that include generous storage allocations, and their prices start at around $10 per month for 25GB of storage. They also have a custom plan that allows you to specify your exact storage needs, so you can get a quote for 900GB of storage.
You might want to take a look at Backblaze B2. They're a cloud storage provider that specializes in large-scale data storage, and their pricing model is extremely competitive. For 900GB of storage, you're looking at around $45 per month, which is still much cheaper than the $400 per month you mentioned.

I would advise against considering hostings that claim to offer unlimited space. It's mostly marketing hype, you know? In actuality, either the space or the number of files you can store is restricted. To get the real deal, you should opt for a virtual or dedicated server.

I'm using bluehost for hosting, but it's only for static file distribution. My plan gives me 500GB of space at $3 each month. They have turned off all dynamic features like PHP, so I'm just paying for storage space. However, there's a limit to the number of files I can have—1,000,000 files for the 500GB plan.
Currently, I've used about 3% of the 500GB storage, and my file count is 79% of the limit. That works perfectly for me, so I'm satisfied with the setup.

Always look for a few things: reliability, support/knowledge, price - you get what you pay for really.
Well, GTHost.com server hosting is trustworthy. Try this one: 2xE5-2695v2, 512GB, 2x960GB SSD, 1G Unmetered starting at $289.
I've found them to be the best host for support, advice, and pricing out of several hosts I have ever seen before.
