What are the best options for contacting the owner of a domain name on Epik with a private whois? I want to make an offer but Epik support has been unhelpful.
I asked Epik about having a contact function in their whois like Godaddy and Networksolution, but they simply explained that the visibility of contact information is optional for domain owners. If the customer's information is not visible, it means they have chosen to keep it private.
With my experience of over 15 years in the business, I understand what a private whois entails. Perhaps I should consider exploring the whois history.

Exploring the whois history can be a good way to gather information about the owner of a domain name with private whois. You can use online tools or services that provide historical whois data to track changes in the domain's ownership or contact details over time. This may help you find previous contact information that can be used to reach out to the owner.

Additionally, you can try other methods to contact the owner of the domain name on Epik. These may include sending an email to the email address provided in the whois data (if available), reaching out through any social media platforms associated with the domain, or using domain marketplace platforms to connect with the owner.

If your attempts to contact the owner of a domain name with private whois are not successful, there may still be a few more options to explore:

1. Domain Brokerage Services: Consider engaging a domain brokerage service that specializes in facilitating communications and negotiations between buyers and sellers. These services often have experience in handling private whois domains and can help facilitate communication with the owner.

2. WHOIS Proxy Services: Some domain registrars offer WHOIS proxy or escrow services. These services act as an intermediary between the buyer and the owner, helping to facilitate communication and negotiations while maintaining privacy for both parties.

3. Domain Marketplace Platforms: Explore domain marketplace platforms like Sedo, Afternic, or Flippa. While some domain owners may choose to list their domains with private whois, others may make their contact information available through these platforms. You can search for the specific domain you're interested in and see if the owner has listed it for sale or included their contact information.

Tackling Epik's whois privacy walls means employing reverse whois searches on archives like Archive.org or ICANN's whois history for leaked details, engaging domain brokers on GoDaddy Auctions for mediated escrow deals, checking the site's footer or contact pages for hidden emails, and using LinkedIn or Twitter for owner profiling.
