Domaining requires hard work and ongoing training, as I've learned during my six months in the industry. One important lesson I've gleaned is the value of asking questions, especially when purchasing a domain. Just like you wouldn't buy a car without inquiring about its features and history, you should always inquire about the domains you register or purchase. The more you ask, the more knowledge you gain.

When I first started, I registered domains that I thought were cool, but quickly learned that they may not appeal to others. It's important to research what domains are for sale and monitor sales trends in order to make informed purchases. I wish someone had provided me with this advice when I began.

If you're serious about making money in the domain industry, you should view it as a multimillion-dollar industry from the outset. Treating it as a part-time gig won't yield significant profits. However, it's crucial to only spend what you can afford and avoid overextending yourself financially. I've observed domainers who must sell their domains to pay bills, and it's a situation to be avoided at all costs. It's important to exercise financial caution to prevent potential collapse.

Following the launch of registration in the .site domain, I was fortunate enough to acquire several promising names which I'm looking to sell. However, I'm unsure of how to price them or effectively gauge buyer interest.

Many people, including myself, quickly jumped on the opportunity to purchase various combinations of letters and words in the .site domain. Even the day after registration began, there were still desirable names available for acquisition. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, I had to pass on a handful of excellent domains and missed out on potential profits.
