Greetings.
I represent a company involved in offering programming services and server administration to clients primarily in English-speaking countries. We are currently considering two domain options: name.so and namesolutions.com.
The question at hand is, which of these options would be more favorable for our English-speaking clients and search engines?

When considering domain options, it's important to choose a domain name that is easily recognizable, professional, and memorable. The ".com" extension is the most widely used and recognized domain extension globally, especially in English-speaking countries.

From a branding perspective, namesolutions.com presents a professional and reliable image to your potential clients. It gives the impression of a well-established company offering comprehensive solutions. This can help build trust and credibility with English-speaking clients.

In terms of search engine optimization (SEO), having a ".com" domain can also provide an advantage. While the domain extension itself does not directly impact search engine rankings, ".com" domains are often perceived as more trustworthy by search engines and users alike. This can potentially lead to higher click-through rates and better visibility in search results.

From a user experience standpoint, a ".com" domain is easier for people to remember and type into their browsers. This can lead to better direct traffic and word-of-mouth referrals, which are valuable for any online business.
namesolutions.com would be more favorable for your English-speaking clients and search engines due to its professional image, potential SEO advantages, and ease of use.

Go ahead and register the domain that resonates with you. When your services are top-notch and reliable, your domain will stand out in any market.
It's worth noting that many successful startups have chosen domains in .me, .io, and .ly zones, and they have found great acceptance among English-speaking audiences.

I came across an interesting observation recently. I discovered that there is a new top-level domain called .solutions.

It got me thinking - if "solutions" is the key word in a company's name and they want to include it in their web address, why not use the .solutions domain instead of opting for .so? It seems like a great opportunity to clearly communicate the nature of the business right in the URL
