As I was reading through the forum, it seemed that people who have been in the domain business for a long time have a very negative view on the introduction of new gTLDs. This isn't entirely unwarranted as the most profitable business is done when there's a deficit. However, with the introduction of hundreds of new zones, the deficit has disappeared and end users now have more opportunities to bypass domainers to implement their Internet projects.

Looking at the situation from the perspective of an end user, I find it unlikely that I would buy an expensive domain when there are so many cheaper options available on the market. While the new zones may be unusual, this is only temporary. Domainers may still have their portfolios in the "old zones," but over time they'll likely have to decrease the price in order to sell them.

Change is inevitable and the fact remains that new zones are a reality that won't go away. The statistics speak for themselves with about 2.9 million registered domains with the majority coming from the US, Germany, and China. While some may cling to .COM, the rest of the world is invested in new domain name zones.

A year ago, I shared the same thoughts and decided to become a domainer due to the introduction of new zones. In the first half of the year, I earned several thousand dollars despite not selling a single domain. It was encouraging to use cool words for my domains, but all costs were only covered by sales in the DE zone.

From my experience, I can say that when it comes to your projects, you can take any zone. However, if you're looking to sell, I would recommend focusing on what is in demand. It's important to make a choice based on what will drive results for your business.

Overall, I believe that being a domainer requires adaptability and a willingness to take risks. Keeping an eye on trends and staying informed can help increase your chances of success in this constantly evolving industry.

TS has a similar perspective to that of an avid DNray reader. These individuals are rare in today's society as the content lacks flashy images and modern design which may bore some individuals. Advertisements do not disrupt the reading experience either. Hence, TS is correct in stating that opportunities have emerged. However, it is paradoxical that despite these opportunities, there is still a shortage of resources available.

It appears that key players in the new domain zone are given access to a limited set of tools. It's much like owning a brand new Mercedes with no air conditioning, music-navigation or power windows. The interior is nothing to write home about and it's equipped with a manual transmission.

To safeguard yourself against fraudulent practices in the domaining industry, it's crucial to follow five rules of protection. Firstly, keep the name of your project or product confidential until it has launched. Secondly, register a domain prior to announcing the launch. This can be done with free domain names to reserve future names for potential products. The name should be unique and original, as competitors' naming conventions must be studied to create something distinctive.

When purchasing a domain, one should register multiple instances of it to prevent cybersquatters from snagging similar names. Check out domain auctions on registrar websites for favorable pricing. Additionally, research on foreign markets to identify multiple resources for auction bidding. It is important to renew domain registration before its expiration date.

It's not advised to collaborate with cybersquatters, even if they suggest profitable partnerships. Experts agree that individuals are better off acting alone within the industry. The current trend is domain resale in 2022, where ".com" and ".io" zones are recommended for selling domains. However, domain monitoring and analysis require time and effort, as user earnings and large incomes rely on their actions.

From my perspective, the shift towards new gTLDs has opened up a world of opportunity for businesses and individuals looking to establish their online identity. While .COM domains have traditionally been seen as the gold standard, the emergence of unique and niche-specific gTLDs has allowed for more targeted and memorable domain names. This can be particularly advantageous for startups and small businesses who may find it challenging to secure a relevant .COM domain.

Availability of diverse gTLDs enables us to tailor website layouts, color schemes, and overall aesthetics to better align with the chosen domain extension. For example, a creative agency using a .DESIGN domain can incorporate design-centric visual elements into their website to reinforce their brand identity from the moment visitors land on the site.

The increased availability of affordable domain options means that end users are less limited by budget constraints when selecting a domain name. This can ultimately lead to a more inclusive online landscape where businesses of all sizes can stake their claim in the digital realm without being hindered by exorbitant domain acquisition costs.
I see the introduction of new gTLDs as a positive development that has expanded the creative possibilities and accessibility of domain names for both businesses and individuals. This shift has encouraged a more diverse and dynamic online ecosystem, offering unique opportunities for branding and online expression.
