According to a panelist, the NFT company, Euclid Labs, is guilty of both reverse and actual domain name hijacking, as ruled in a cybersquatting case filed against MagicEden.gg.

The Complainant argued that the domain was previously used for phishing and now serves as a confusing dead-end for visitors to their website. However, despite claiming that the domain was redirected to a phishing website, they provided no proof.

Interestingly, the Complainant hijacked the domain's traffic by creating an account at Vercel and posting a message asking for the domain, leading the panelist to question the legality of their actions. Eventually, the panelist found in favor of the Respondent, and also found the Claimant guilty of actual domain name hijacking.

The decision was issued on April 22, and oddly enough, the domain was recently registered again after possibly expiring. It is important for companies to avoid such practices as they could lead to legal consequences.
