Uniregistry, which is owned by GoDaddy, will cease its operations and close down in the middle of the year.



Uniregistry Support sent responses to one of the users that were independently confirmed. Although the date has not been set exactly, an official announcement regarding the company's shutdown and the complete transfer of existing accounts to GoDaddy will be made in the coming months.

Currently, the Uniregistry app can still be used for inquiries and other purposes, yet domain management is not possible. As a result, the revolutionary platform released by Frank Schilling, a domain entrepreneur, has come to an undesired end. This marks the conclusion of an era where independent registrars and marketplaces resist GoDaddy's control.
