ICANN has issued another statement regarding Epik. In a post titled "ICANN's ongoing support for those affected by Epik Inc.," Jamie Hedlund provides an update, also mentioning that Epik has addressed the breach notice.

Epik Has Addressed the Breach Notice
On June 1, 2023, a breach notice was issued due to Epik's failure to pay ICANN accreditation fees. The notice also served as a reminder to Epik that it still had unresolved complaints regarding the timely processing of domain name renewals and other customer requests.

On June 21, 2023, Epik resolved the breach notice. They paid all outstanding ICANN fees and, in regards to the unresolved complaints, Epik:

- Acknowledged and explained their failure to promptly process various registrant requests, including domain name renewal for generic top-level domains (gTLD).
- Described the specific corrective actions taken to address these failures and prevent their recurrence in registrar services.
- Detailed the steps taken to assist registrants, confirming resolution of all remaining issues related to gTLD domain names affected by the aforementioned failures.
- As confirmed by ICANN, allowed renewal or transfer of all gTLD domain names subject to complaints and accompanied by evidence of payment.

ICANN acknowledged Epik's remedial measures and emphasized that swift action will be taken to enforce Epik's contractual obligations should any of these issues arise again.

It is important for domain registrars like Epik to diligently adhere to ICANN's requirements to ensure smooth and reliable services for customers.
