Dynadot has a major disadvantage in which if you register your domain there, someone could be deceived into purchasing it and then preventing you from managing it for six days. However, if the domain is left unpaid, it will not be sold. This blockage also prevents other individuals from buying the domain.

Moreover, it appears that Dynadot does not authenticate fake buyers. This flaw makes it worse than Sedo, which at least displays fraudulent information about fake buyers.

Rather than posting messages on forums for thousands of people to see, it's recommended to send a message to their support service. After all, they are a business.

Effective communication is key in any customer-business relationship, and contacting the support team directly can provide timely and accurate solutions to any issues or concerns. It also allows the business to track and maintain records of their customers' requests and inquiries, leading to better overall customer service.

For someone in my line of work, the ability to manage and control the domains I purchase is of utmost importance. The fact that a domain registered with Dynadot can be effectively hijacked for six days by a potential buyer after it is listed for sale is deeply troubling. This introduces a significant element of risk and uncertainty into the domain acquisition process, which is not conducive to a secure and reliable online presence.

In my experience, the ability to maintain full control over domains from the moment of registration is paramount. Any uncertainty or lack of control can lead to potential financial loss and disruption to online operations. It is concerning that Dynadot does not appear to authenticate potential buyers effectively, leaving domain owners vulnerable to exploitation.

Furthermore, the fact that this blockage also prevents other legitimate individuals from purchasing the domain compounds the issue. This effectively gives undue power to potential buyers and creates a situation where the domain owner's rights and control can be compromised.

In contrast, domain marketplaces such as Sedo at least provide some level of protection by displaying information about potential buyers, even if it may be fraudulent. This allows domain owners to make more informed decisions about potential offers and mitigates the risk of being deceived.
It is essential for domain registrars to prioritize the security and control of their customers' assets. Any vulnerabilities in the domain registration and transfer process can have serious implications for domain owners and the stability of their online presence. Dynadot should consider addressing these issues to ensure a more secure and transparent domain registration process for its customers.

That's a straight-up bug in their codebase, not a feature. No buyer validation means your domain's held hostage by any wannabe hacker, and you're just SOL. Sedo at least drops hints on fake buyer deets, but Dynadot's out here playing noob-level defense.
This ain't just sloppy - it's a security fail that could crash your whole project.
