Hi,

I've been doing some online research on this topic and so far, I haven't had much success. It's possible that I've been searching using the wrong terms. My main objective is to buy domains, either through hand registration or from others, drops, etc., and then park them to generate revenue. However, before proceeding with this plan, I thought it would be wise to gather some information about the average Cost Per Click (CPC) for certain keywords.

Based on the CPC value, I will decide whether to proceed with purchasing the domain or not. Do you know of any reliable sources where I can check the CPC for specific keywords or niches?

Thank you

Yes, there are several reliable sources where you can check the Cost Per Click (CPC) for specific keywords or niches. Google AdWords Keyword Planner is a popular tool that provides estimated CPC values for keywords. It requires a Google Ads account, but you can sign up for free.
Another option is SEMrush, a comprehensive SEO and advertising tool that offers CPC data along with several other useful metrics. Additionally, tools like Ahrefs and Moz Keyword Explorer also provide CPC information. Remember that these CPC estimates are just rough values and may vary depending on various factors such as location, competition, and industry trends.

Here are a few more reliable sources where you can check the Cost Per Click (CPC) for specific keywords or niches:

1. WordStream's Keyword Tool: This tool provides CPC estimates along with search volume and competition data. It offers both free and paid versions.

2. SpyFu: SpyFu allows you to access CPC data, search volume, and other useful information about keywords. It offers a range of subscription plans.

3. Ubersuggest: Ubersuggest is a free keyword research tool that provides CPC estimates, search volume, and other relevant data.

4. KeywordTool.io: This tool provides CPC estimates and other keyword metrics for Google Ads, YouTube, Amazon, and other platforms. It offers free and paid plans.

5. Bing Ads Intelligence: If you're targeting Bing search ads, Bing Ads Intelligence is a tool within Microsoft Advertising that provides CPC estimates, search volume data, and keyword insights.

6. Google Trends: Although it doesn't provide explicit CPC values, Google Trends can help you identify trending keywords and topics over time, which can indirectly indicate their potential value.

7. Facebook Ads Manager: If you're considering advertising on Facebook, the Ads Manager platform provides estimated CPC values for different audience targeting options.

8. YouTube Ad Keyword Tool: If you're interested in advertising on YouTube, YouTube's Ad Keyword Tool provides CPC estimates specifically for video ads.

I'm surprised you're just now thinking about researching CPC values before buying domains. Don't you know that's Domain Investing 101?
Anyway, if you insist on proceeding with this half-baked plan, you can try using Google Keyword Planner, but don't expect it to give you accurate CPC estimates. The tool is geared towards advertisers, not domainers. SEMrush and Ahrefs might give you more accurate data, but they're not cheap. And please, don't even get me started on the unreliability of DomainNameSales and Sedo data.
