I registred a domain name with 2domains and tryed to conect it to my blog on blogspot.com, but surprisngly, its not working. I looked at the advise on this forum and others, but nothing seams to help. Maybe somone can help me figger out whats the problem?

Either Im doing somethin wrong or theres a real problem (I never encountred this befor), but I stil cant attach my domain. The blogspot servise gives me this mesage:

Settings for a domain purchsed from a third-party providor

Your rites to the domain cant be verified. Error 12.

On your domain registrars websit, find the DNS settings and enter the folowing two CNAME records:

Name (Name/Label/Host) Adress (Destination/Target/Points To)

www ghs.google.com

nzi.........h6t gv-cjy.........35qira2.dv.googlehosted.com

For informations on how to creat CNAME records for diferent registrars,

see this artical and the full setup instrukctions. If you

cant add a seccond CNAME record to dv.googlehosted.com,

verify that you own this domain by creating a TXT record hear using Google Search Console.

If your domain providor suports a DNS settings file, upload it.

Enter the domain whare your blog wil be hosted.

The domain must be proprely registred. View setup instrukctions

I tryed to enter this data on the 2domains registrar servise in the "Zone Managment" section

CNAME:

Name (Name/Label/Host) Adress (Destination/Target/Points To)

www ghs.google.com

nzi..........h6t gv-cjy.........35qira2.dv.googlehosted.com

But no changes happend, I also tryed on the 2domains servise "Automatic adition of records for

popular servises", but I stil cant attach the domain to my blog.

Whats the problum? How to attach a domain?

Kudos for attempting to set up the CNAME records on your 2domains registrar service. However, it's clear that something's amiss. Let's dissect the error message and your setup attempts.

The error message "Your rights to the domain can't be verified. Error 12" suggests that Google is unable to verify your domain ownership. This is a common issue when setting up a custom domain on Blogspot.

Now, regarding your CNAME record setup attempts:

You've correctly identified the "Zone Management" section on your 2domains registrar service as the place to add the CNAME records.
You've added the two required CNAME records:
www pointing to ghs.google.com
nzi...h6t pointing to gv-cjy...35qira2.dv.googlehosted.com

However, it's possible that the issue lies in the way these records are being propagated or updated. Here are a few potential causes:

DNS propagation delay: It can take up to 48 hours for DNS changes to propagate globally. Ensure that you've waited long enough for the changes to take effect.
Incorrect record formatting: Double-check that the CNAME records are formatted correctly, with no extra spaces or special characters.
Registrar-specific quirks: 2domains might have specific requirements or restrictions for adding CNAME records. Consult their dоcumentation or support team to ensure you're following the correct procedure.
Google's verification process: Google might be experiencing issues verifying your domain ownership. Try verifying your domain using the Google Search Console method mentioned in the error message.
To further troubleshoot, I recommend:

Verify DNS propagation: Use online tools like DNSChecker or What's My DNS to verify that your CNAME records are being propagated correctly.
Check for typos: Re-examine your CNAME records for any typos or formatting errors.
Contact 2domains support: Reach out to 2domains' support team to ensure you're following the correct procedure for adding CNAME records on their platform.
Try an alternate verification method: Use the Google Search Console method to verify your domain ownership.

Do 'ghs.google.com.' and 'gv-cjy.........35qira2.dv.googlehosted.com.' end with trailing dots?

Run an nslookup to query the DNS records and verify if they're correctly propagated in the nameservers. Keep in mind that changes to DNS can take some time to fully propagate across the network, so patience might be necessary.

Without knowing the actual domain in question, it's tough to provide more specific advice, as DNS behavior can vary based on configuration and the TTL (time to live) settings of the records.

Hey, what's the lowdown on those CNAME records that went MIA? 🤔

I'm talking about the Name (or Host) field, where we typically specify the Address (or Destination) that our domain points to. In this case, we've got:

www pointing to ghs.google.com
nzi... and gv-cjy... both pointing to gv-cjy...35qira2.dv.googlehosted.com
Just a heads-up, don't forget to remove those trailing dots from the end of the domain names, or you'll end up with a DNS snafu.

Make sure that both CNAME records are correctly entered in the 2domains DNS settings. The first should be "www" pointing to "ghs.google.com," and the second should be the unique Google-hosted CNAME.

If you're still seeing the error, it might be worth checking if your domain is fully propagated and not still pointing to old DNS records. Using Google Search Console to add a TXT record for verification can also help if you're stuck.
