DynaDot.com turns out to be customers cheating

Recently, I placed an interception order on DynaDot.com, as I had done several times before. However, when I checked today, it turned out that the domain was already registered by another client, despite my order still being pending.

When I contacted their chat support, I was told that even regular users could apply for registration through their API, and the person who registered the domain would be prioritized over my interception order. This turn of events was unexpected from a company like DynaDot, which I had always regarded as one of the best registrars.
Unfortunately, I was left disappointed and advise others to be cautious when dealing with them.

A comparable experience occurred where they initially deceived me, but eventually admitted that their API allowed for a bypass of their interception.
Curious about this company, I conducted a Google search and came across a discussion where an account was banned for a seemingly invalid reason for attempting to transfer from them following the expiration of a domain.

I've experienced this issue on multiple occasions, and to make matters worse, I accidentally put it on interception in their system at dynadot.com, which triggered my IP to be intercepted from their domain.
So, I can relate to your experience, having been in similar situations twice before. It's possible that the domain wasn't in the .net zone, as that's been the case for two domains I encountered recently.

It seems as though they may have broken the interception function for that domain zone. In one instance, the domain I requested became available, and I was able to register it manually through their panel without even using an API.

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with DynaDot.com. It can definitely be frustrating when expectations are not met, especially if you have had positive experiences with them in the past. It's important for companies to communicate any changes or limitations in their services to their customers, so they can make informed decisions.

If you're looking for a reliable domain registrar, there are several others in the market that you may consider exploring. Do you need any recommendations or would you like me to look up more information on alternative registrars?

Here are a few reliable domain registrars that are well-regarded in the industry:

1. Namecheap: Namecheap is known for its user-friendly interface and competitive pricing. They offer a wide range of domain extensions and have a solid reputation for customer support.

2. GoDaddy: GoDaddy is one of the largest domain registrars, offering a variety of domain extensions and additional services like website hosting. They have a robust platform and provide 24/7 customer support.

3. Google Domains: Google Domains is a popular choice for its simplicity and integration with other Google services. They offer transparent pricing, privacy protections, and helpful management tools.

4. Hover: Hover is known for its clean and intuitive interface. They focus on simplicity and offer excellent customer service. Hover also provides free WHOIS privacy with every domain purchase.

5. Gandi: Gandi is a reliable registrar that values ethics and privacy. They offer a wide variety of domain extensions and take a proactive approach to protect customer data and privacy rights.

Remember that prices and available domain extensions may vary between registrars, so it's worth comparing their offerings and features before making a decision. Additionally, reading reviews from other customers can help you get a better idea of their overall reputation and customer satisfaction.
