Is the next scam on the horizon?

Epik was functional earlier during domain registrations,
but it is currently non-functional.

Refunds might be issued in due course, but typically they are only granted
after a plethora of angry complaints, and even then,
they only refund a portion of the registrations, not all.

Why can't they make lasting improvements?
They are harboring malevolent individuals.

Buyers: rest assured, you can securely purchase aftermarket domains from there.
(just make sure you receive the domain, if not (unlikely), do a chargeback))
It's only sellers who need to be concerned.

Epik.com is a domain registrar and web hosting company that was founded in 2009. It offers services such as domain registration, website hosting, SSL certificates, and more. Epik has gained attention and some controversy due to its association with certain websites that have faced criticism for hosting or promoting controversial content.

One notable aspect of Epik is its stance on free speech and its willingness to work with websites that may have been denied service by other registrars. This has led to it becoming a preferred provider for some websites and individuals who face restrictions or censorship from other platforms.

However, it's important to note that Epik has also faced criticism for its policies and practices. Some users have raised concerns about the company's customer support, refund policies, and its association with controversial websites.

What are the reasons behind Epik's current non-functionality in domain registrations?
How do refunds typically work with Epik, especially in the case of complaints?
Can you explain why lasting improvements seem to be a challenge for Epik?

Epik's downtime is just the tip of the iceberg - it's a symptom of a much larger problem. Their willingness to cater to malicious actors and lack of regard for customer satisfaction is a recipe for disaster. It's only a matter of time before they're hit with a class-action lawsuit or worse.

Buyers, beware: while you may be able to secure a domain from Epik, you're essentially supporting a company that's more interested in lining their pockets than providing a reliable service. Sellers, don't waste your time - take your business (and your domains) elsewhere.
