Hello everyone,

I wanted to know if it's feasible to transfer a domain from one Network Solutions account to another even when it's within the 60-day transfer lock timeframe.

Thank you for your assistance.

The 60-day transfer lock is a standard security feature implemented by ICANN (the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) to prevent unauthorized or accidental transfers shortly after a domain registration or transfer.

Within this 60-day window, transferring a domain from one Network Solutions account to another is generally not permitted. The lock is designed to protect both the domain owner and the integrity of the domain system.

However, it's important to clarify that while you can't initiate a transfer, you do have some options for managing your domain within the original account. For example, you can modify domain settings, update contact information, or even change the name servers, as long as you are still operating within your own Network Solutions account.

If your specific situation requires an urgent transfer for business or operational needs, you might consider contacting Network Solutions' customer support directly. They can provide more detailed guidance based on your circumstances and may have internal protocols for exceptions, though such cases are rare.
