Hello, my name is Charles and I manage a medium-sized Taxi Cab business located in downtown Miami called "TaxiMi". Presently, 461 cars are being operated under my brand. I am interested in developing a website for my business but I'm facing challenges in selecting an appropriate domain name due to the high cost of short domain names.
Could anyone kindly suggest some alternative cool options for me to consider? It doesn't have to be directly related to my brand name as anything random could suffice.

In my opinion, if your business is operating as T/A/X/I/M/I, it is advisable to maintain a focus on that. The perfect domain name "COM" is up for sale at DAN for $4k, but if that price is not affordable, I would recommend the respectable "ORG" which is available for hand registration. Anyone else considering registering the "ORG" should refrain and allow the owner of the business to secure it.

The domain name you choose for your website should depend on your plans for the site. If you envision it growing into a global brand, investing in a good .com domain name that exactly matches your business name would be a wise decision, provided there are no existing trademark issues with it.

On the other hand, if you don't foresee such growth, simply enter your business name into a domain registrar and select an available name that appeals to you. It's not necessary to spend excessively, as it may not be worthwhile.

I bought my first domain for $ 3,000, I have already paid for it in 2 years. The theme of my site was relevant for that year. I earned mainly on advertising banners!

I agree with the user of Sadko7777 about the purchase of the ORG domain. All the same, the business should bring money. And not to lose them, a reasoning impression on others. Let someone else spend money in vain

Unless they are timed to coincide with a specific event, it's not advisable to purchase domain names that you don't intend to renew. Avoid spending a lot on domain names in areas where you lack experience. Before registering domain names, ensure that they are not blacklisted. If you plan to register a large number of domain names, it's better to have your own reseller account which can help reduce the cost per domain. Utilize search software to professionally search for domain names.

When selecting a registrar, choose one with reasonable prices, a good reputation, and free push services. This will increase the trust of buyers who purchase domains through you. GoDaddy is a popular option, where you can save with discount codes. Moniker is also a good choice, with discounts for DNray members.

Take your time when deciding on domain names. If you have ten good options, only register one or two. If you find a free name, verify whether the singular or plural version of that name is also available.
