Title: Which domain name zone is better?
Post by: neelseofast on Sep 12, 2022, 12:52 AM
Greetings everyone.

Could you advise me on the most suitable domain zone for registering a domain name?

In my opinion, .info would be a better option. However, I'm curious if any new domain zones have emerged which could affect this recommendation.

In terms of indicators, .INFO comes out on top. This is proven by my first successful project, which used that domain zone as the project name. If you're looking to create a website, I suggest checking if your desired domain name is available in .WS - it has practical meaning and was perceived that way years ago.

It's possible that new domain zones have altered this recommendation. However, it's important to note that the question isn't necessarily about choosing between a new zone or .INFO. Additionally, the intended purpose for the domain name is ambiguous. It's worth mentioning that using .INFO for a store may appear unusual.

I don't like .INFO nor .WEBSITE.
I have always been a supporter of the .COM domain zone. As a last resort, you can use .ORG. All other domain zones, in my opinion, are just crap.

While .info is a popular domain extension for websites that provide information, the choice of a domain zone depends on your specific needs and goals. In recent years, there have been several new domain zones that have emerged, offering more options for users.

Some examples include .tech for technology-focused websites, .store for online stores, .blog for blogs, and .me for personal websites. It's worth considering these new domain extensions, as they can help to make your website more memorable and relevant to its content. Ultimately, the best domain zone for you will depend on the nature of your website and your target audience.

.info is a tired, overused, and unremarkable choice. It's like choosing a generic hotel room when you could have a luxurious penthouse suite.

With the rise of new top-level domains (TLDs), you'd be crazy to settle for something so bland..tech,.store, and.space are just a few examples of the many innovative options available. Don't waste your time and money on a domain that's as exciting as a plain crаcker.
