Greetings to all,
I have recently initiated external marketing for multiple domains and have taken the following steps:

- Drafted a series of emails concerning the sale of the respective domains
- Highlighted the benefits of these domains
- Emphasized the overall advantages of premium domains
- Sent a final reminder

The domains are configured for DAN.COM with BIN prices. Recently, a renowned company inquired about purchasing one of the domains, and after providing them with the pricing details, I offered a discount on bulk orders. However, I have not received any further communication from them.

What should be my course of action?
Should I wait, consider it a challenge, or reach out to them again?
I would appreciate insights from experts in this field.

Thank you.

One option to sell your domain with assurance is to use specialized domain resale sites acting as a middleman. The process involves setting up the domain for sale at a desired price, which buyers can consider and purchase through the platform.

Another option is domain resale auctions, where the domain is listed as a lot and participants make bids for it. Automatic resale processes are often set up on these platforms. In this case, the seller puts up their domain for sale, with the buyer paying for it and temporarily freezing the funds. The domain ownership rights are transferred to the buyer, who confirms the successful transfer before funds are credited to the seller.

Usually, such sites may offer both resale options, as well as auctions, from the same website.

From my experience, using domain resale websites and auctions provide a safe and secure way to sell your domain while reaching a larger audience of potential buyers.

Blocking of domain names can occur without the need for a court decision, whether you like your business or not. The recent incident with torrents highlights this issue.

To avoid facing such problems, it is advisable to register domains outside of the RU zone and use a reputable registrar who will not be influenced by domestic authorities. It is also important to understand the relevance of the domain within the international zone.

A domain name is an investment in terms of time, energy, nerves, and ideas invested in PR and marketing, as well as working with communities. Therefore, it should be treated as an asset and protected appropriately to prevent any losses or legal complications.

I believe that being aware of potential risks and taking necessary precautions can help safeguard your domain assets and ensure the continuity of your business online.

In this situation, it is important to consider various factors before deciding on your course of action. Here are some suggestions to help you make an informed decision:

1. Evaluate the Timeframe: Consider the time that has passed since your last communication with the company. If it has been a reasonable amount of time and you haven't received a response, it may be appropriate to follow up.

2. Reflect on Their Interest Level: Assess the level of interest the company displayed during your initial communications. If they expressed serious interest in purchasing the domain and indicated a potential for a bulk order, it might be worth reaching out again.

3. Review Your Offer: Revisit the pricing details and the discount you offered. Ensure that the offer was competitive and attractive enough to encourage further negotiation. If necessary, you may want to reconsider your pricing strategy.

4. Personalize Your Approach: When reaching out again, make sure to personalize your message. Reference your previous conversation, express continued interest, and reiterate the benefits of the domain. This can help reignite their interest and remind them of the value your domain offers.

5. Offer New Incentives: Consider whether there are any incentives or additional discounts you can provide to entice the company further. This could include bundling multiple domains together or offering additional services that align with their business goals.

6. Patience and Persistence: Remember that deals often take time to materialize, especially with larger companies. They may need to consult with multiple stakeholders or undergo a lengthy decision-making process. Be patient, but don't hesitate to follow up if you believe there is a genuine chance of securing the sale.

Ultimately, the decision to wait or reach out again depends on the specifics of your situation and your judgment as a domain seller.
