Over the course of several months, my expenses were approximately $500, while my income was $1500, resulting in a net profit of $1000. It's insufficient to merely purchase domains and wait. In order to make domain sales profitable, active marketing and searching for buyers is necessary. Just waiting and holding onto domains like stocks may not always be an effective strategy.

My personal experience in this matter has taught me a valuable lesson. Around 10 years ago, I purchased over 100 domain names, held onto them for years, and never found the time to sell them. Eventually, I tried to sell them through a popular domain name store, but they remained unsold for many years. It was only then that I realized the importance of actively engaging in sales instead of just passively waiting for them to sell.

In reality, it's necessary to acquire several thousand domain names that are all high quality, visually appealing, interesting, and promising in order to generate substantial profits. In essence, it's a serious business that deserves dedicated attention and effort, rather than just purchasing a few mediocre domains in hope of a lucky break.
