Is there any free hosting services that allows you to connect a free domain like .cf, .tk, and others, apart from infinityfree?

In the past, there was a ton of free hosting options, but as the Internet has grown, many of them has vanished. Please suggest some free hostings that allows linking of free domains.

It's true that many free hosting platforms have either gone down the drain or changed their policies, so finding a reliable one can be quite tricky. However, I can suggest a few options that might work for you.

First off, there's 000webhost. This is a well-known service that has been around for a while. They offer free hosting with a decent amount of disk space and bandwidth, and they do allow you to link custom domains, including those free ones. However, be aware that they have some restrictions, like limited uptime and occasional downtimes because of their free service tier.

Next up is AwardSpace. They also offer free hosting plans and permit the use of free domains. The setup process is fairly straightforward, so it's a good choice for beginners. The only downside is that you might experience slow loading speeds, so if speed is essential, you might have to reconsider.

Another option could be Freehostia. They have a free hosting plan that supports custom domains. Their platform is user-friendly and provides a one-click installer for various applications, which is a plus for designing websites easily. However, they do have some limitations in terms of resources, so it's not ideal for high-traffic sites.

For those who are a bit more technical, you might consider GitHub Pages. While it's not conventional hosting, it allows you to host static websites for free. If you're able to make your site static, you can link it to a free domain with some DNS tweaking. But remember, this option is more suited for developers who are alright with working a bit on the technical side.

Also, there is FreeWebHostingArea. Like others, it provides free hosting and you can attach a free domain, but one important thing to note is that they tend to be strict about their terms of service. They have requirements that you'll need to keep in mind to avoid getting your account suspended.
Don't forget the option of using a cloud service like Firebase. Although it's mainly geared towards app development, you can host simple web apps for free and link up a free domain. However, it does require some coding knowledge and is less about traditional website design.

You can use Github pages to host your website without any cost, straight from your Git repo. Furthermore, you have the option to grab a domain name from Freenom, which is quite cool. It's really easy to set up and manage, making it ideal for both beginners or those with experienc.

The idea of free hosting is like a fairy tale and a real hassle at the same time. I experimented with quite a few of them, and lemme tell you, three of them were so slow from the start that it was painful. Then there were two that started shutting down my sites later on, claiming they were overwhelmed, even tho the sites were totally empty without any traffic. It was a total mess!

So, I decided to upgrade to a paid plan with more robust features. I eventually switched to a different hosting provider, and honestly, I've been really satisfied for the past several years. It's like night and day compared to the free options.

AwardSpace is a decent shout; it's been in the game forever and lets you connect free domains with a basic free plan, though the specs are kinda meh. Then there's FreeHostingNoAds, which, as the name suggests, skips the annoying banners and supports custom domains, even the free ones.

Also, peep x10Hosting, a bit of an underdog but offers cloud-based free hosting with domain flexibility. These hosts are great for small projects or test sites, but don't expect top-tier uptime or crazy-fast load times. Free hosting is a total crapshoot sometimes, so keep your expectations low and always have a backup plan.
