One of my friends called me and asked if I could create a website for her, in exchange for a simple thank you gesture. Since it was the end of the year and there weren't many orders, I promised to do it in a day.

Then I thought about how many people might want to make their own website and decided to share how to create one for just $2 a year. The first step is to purchase a domain name which can be done for $2 in the .ua zone. Then, we need to register with a domain name registration service and top up our balance.

Once registered, we need to delegate our domain to a DNS server of web hosting where we will use free hosting. After waiting 4-5 hours, the website will be ready to go. In my next post, I will explain in detail the process of setting up and creating a design for the website. If anyone has any questions, I am here to help.

The topic of creating your own website has become increasingly popular in recent years due to the growing importance of online presence. With so many options available, including free website builders and affordable hosting services, anyone can create their own website easily and cost-effectively.

It's important to remember that a website is not just a tool for information transmission, but also a platform for creativity and self-expression. By following the steps outlined in this post, anyone can create their own website and showcase their talents and ideas to the world.

Can a WordPress website cost only $2 a year including the domain name renewal fee? A cheaper option would be a static site generated with tools like Docpad, hosted on Github. It would be great to have a detailed guide in Russian, starting from installing necessary tools (node, git) and code editors to adding search and comments features. However, will the guide be beginner-friendly enough for someone who struggled with English dоcumentation, and will there be enough demand for it?

When I first thought of creating a website two years ago, I underestimated the complexity and cost of it all. I believed that throwing my "brilliant" idea onto the internet would bring me riches without much investment. I wasn't even willing to pay for a $4000 design. However, now I have a project which requires an investment of around $150-200 thousand, and I understand the value of investing in my dreams.

I know what I want and that it's worth it. As soon as I have the funds, I will hire professionals to bring my vision to life, like the programmer from Lithuania whom I met on Skype. In the end, my website prototype only cost me $100, but I know it's not enough for the final product. As I age, I've come to understand that expenses are constantly growing.
