Game server. Intel XEON or i7 OC?

Greetings! Currently, I am running a mobile game server for Clash of Clans multiplayer using a C# emulator.

To expand my capabilities, I will be creating 7-9 VPS from this dedicated server. However, I am in a dilemma as to which dedicated server is suitable for me; one with Intel Xeon or i7 processors.

I am considering purchasing a dandy server from OVH and here are the two options available:

1. Intel i7-7700K OC— 4 cores/8 threads with a speed of 4.7 GHz/5.00 GHz
2. Intel Xeon E3-1270v6— 4 cores/8 threads with a speed of 3.8 GHz/4.2 GHz

Which one would you recommend?

Hello! The choice of processor is reliant on the game you plan to host. For instance, Rust is a single-threaded game that performs well with the 7700k processor.
