Hello, team.

A couple of days ago, I purchased four domains on rdn.name. Everything seemed to be okay, but today the domains aren't resolving; they're still in the panel. However, when I attempt to make edits, I receive an error message:

Mistake: Unable to retrieve DNS records. deleteDomain: No response. (cURL Error 7: could not connect to the host)

Has anyone faced this issue? What might this indicate?

The error message you're seeing, "Unable to retrieve DNS records. deleteDomain: No response. (cURL Error 7: could not connect to the host)," suggests that there might be a connectivity issue between your service provider and the DNS server.
The fact that the domains are still showing in your panel indicates that they are registered, but it seems like there's a problem with the DNS configuration or the server itself. cURL Error 7 usually means that the system is unable to connect to the specified host, which could be due to several reasons. It might be a temporary issue with the rdn.name server, or there could be a problem with your internet connection.

You might want to check if their service status page is reporting any outages or maintenance. Sometimes, these issues are caused by backend problems that the provider is already aware of and working to fix. If everything looks fine on their end, try clearing your browser cache or accessing the panel from a different network to rule out local connectivity issues.

If the problem persists, I recommend reaching out to their customer support. Provide them with the exact error message and any other relevant details. They should be able to assist you further, whether it's a server-side issue or something specific to your account.

In the meantime, make sure that you have all your domain settings correctly configured. Sometimes, even small errors in the DNS settings can prevent domains from resolving properly. Stay patient, as these issues can be resolved with a bit of time and communication.

You gotta reach out to the support team, and they will assist you with your issues.

At the moment, the updates aren't processing on the registrar end because of some troubles on the RDN side. So, it's important to get in touch with the support team for help.

The only choise we got here is to boot the reseller and/or take the domaine names away from him, and give them to anuvver reseller/registrar, cuz thats the only way to resolve this mess

Encountering issues like "Unable to retrieve DNS records" often indicates a problem with the domain registrar's DNS management system. The cURL Error 7 suggests that your server can't connect to the DNS provider, which could be due to server downtime or misconfigured settings on their end. It's crucial to check if the domains are correctly registered and that the nameservers are properly set.

If everything appears correct, it might just be a temporary glitch, but you should definitely reach out to their support for clarification. They should be able to provide insights into whether it's a widespread issue or something specific to your account.

If a recently purchased domain is giving you DNS problems, make sure the domain is correctly registered and that the nameservers are configured. DNS takes up to 48 hours to propagate. Check settings in your registrar's dashboard, clear your local DNS cache, and diagnose problems with tools like DNSChecker or NSLookup.
