Just one month after EuroLinux 9.1, the EuroLinux team announced the arrival of EuroLinux 9.2, which comes with a variety of new features, improvements, and package updates. The EuroLinux 9.2 depot now includes updated versions of Performance Co-Pilot, Python 3.11, Nginx 1.22, and PostgreSQL 15. Although the latest version maintains compatibility with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2.



EuroLinux 9.2 has some very similar improvements to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.2 to ensure compatibility with it. In terms of security, OpenSSL 3.0.7, SCAP Security Guide 0.1.66, Clevis with external tokens, and Rsyslog privileges limited to minimize security exposure are all included. EuroLinux 9.2 also boasts upgrades and updates such as Python 3.11, nginx 1.22, PostgreSQL 15, Git to version 2.39.1, glibc 2.34, binutils 2.35.2, and Gaia updates.

Additionally, Java implementations, an improved on-prem image builder, customized files in the /etc directory, auditing events for Podman, and Toolbox are available. The CNI network stack is deprecated.
