Altibox, a Norwegian Internet Service Provider, has partnered with Alinto, a global player in the email industry, to enhance its email services for subscribers across the Nordic region.



Altibox decided to outsource email services due to the extensive maintenance required for their own network. They conducted a rigorous selection process and chose Alinto's offerings, which provided an administration portal, insights, support, and GDPR compliance. Alinto's Cleanmail capability aligned with Altibox's ongoing efforts to improve security.

Altibox operates local networks in Norway and Denmark, with over 750,000 fiber connections in Norway alone. Email services are available to customers as an additional offering.

Two of its most noteworthy items are SOGomail, a carrier-grade mail server designed for companies in need of a dependable European solution, and Cleanmail, which uses advanced email filtering and AI technology to protect communications from potential hazards and threats.
