Digital Edge, NIIF and AGP have recently formed a partnership to create a set of hyperscale data centers across India.



The collaboration's first project is a greenfield 300MW hyperscale facility situated in Navi Mumbai, the most significant Indian data center hub. The construction on the 47-acre site is due to begin in early 2023 and will be executed in phases. The facilities will be called Digital Edge DC, and the company aims to aid India's digital transformation by supporting the country's cloud industry.

The new data center will be one of the largest in India, catering specifically to hyperscale deployments. Digital Edge plans to invest $2 billion in this project and source power from renewable energy sources as much as possible, partnering with NIIF and AGP, who bring their local know-how and expertise to propel the project forward. Once completed, all marketing and operation of the data center will fall under the Digital Edge DC brand. With this investment, Digital Edge expands its footprint into India and sets off on its mission to build a foundation for the world's digital future.
