The growing threat of cybersecurity breaches has become a crucial concern for businesses, and companies are taking measures to mitigate potential risks.



Despite this, the lack of resources and time is a significant challenge for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and startups in managing cybersecurity.  The study by DigitalOcean found that SMBs struggle to prioritize data privacy as they do not have any staff dedicated specifically to it.

SMBs must also review the security and data protection policies of their third-party vendors, including cloud providers and other technology vendors, and mandate adherence to regulatory requirements to ensure the security of their business and customer data.
