EuroLinux, a Linux distribution company that focuses on enterprise solutions, has announced the launch of EuroLinux Desktop 9.1.

The system caters to the needs of individuals and organizations that rely on Windows or macOS and require a stable system with long-term support, similar to those offered by Microsoft and Apple. The desktop solution is based on the source code of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9, which is widely used in demanding environments such as the financial sector and industry. Available on the manufacturer's website, EuroLinux Desktop 9.1 offers a Live ISO that allows users to test the system before installing it.

The update includes several upgrades, such as the latest version of Security-Enhanced Linux (SELinux), various programming languages, and a new Linux kernel version. Additionally, the open-source Geary email client has been added to the system upon request from users and the community.

The live ISO allows anyone to boot the system directly from a USB stick or DVD without needing to install it first on their machine. This is a big advantage for peaple who want to try it out before commiting to a full installation.

In this version, there's a variety of pre-installed software that tiles towards both productivity and entertainment. It's great to see popular applications that are updated to the latest versions, so users can enjoy a smooth experience. Additionally, the user interface has been polished, making it look more modern and intuitive. This should help new users adapt quickly without feeling overwhelmed.

Another key point is the improved security features falling into this release. EuroLinux is putting emphasis on protecting users' data and privacy, which is more important than ever in today's digital world. I can also see this being a great option for businesses looking for a reliable and secure operating system. Overall, I think this release will appeal to a wide audience, and I can't wait to see how the community responds to it.

Another Linux distribution that thinks it can take on the big boys. EuroLinux Desktop 9.1 is just a rehashed version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 with a fancy new coat of paint. The addition of Geary email client is a nice try, but who uses email clients anymore?
I'm more concerned about the lack of innovation and the reliance on outdated technologies. EuroLinux Desktop 9.1 is just another also-ran in the Linux world, and I wouldn't waste my time on it if I were you.
