Service Express, a U.S. third-party data center solutions provider specializing in global multivendor maintenance and hybrid cloud services, has announced the acquisition of ServIQ. This investment will complement Service Express' existing channel partner program and expand its portfolio of solutions.

Since its establishment in 2004, ServIQ has provided multivendor data center support to top Fortune 500 businesses and well-known brands worldwide. Apart from bringing over 19 years of experience to the table, ServIQ also brings a team of skilled professionals in sales, service, engineering, and customer support.

ServIQ sought the guidance of Agile Equity for their financial needs, and the terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

This is not Service Express' first acquisition. In recent years, the company has acquired several other companies, including Sherlock Services, iTech Solutions Group, iInTheCloud, and UK-based Blue Chip.

Jeff Reale, owner of ServIQ, commented on the significance of the move, expressing his satisfaction with the support of Service Express as they enter the next phase of their organization. Mr. Reale also praised the quality of Service Express' services based on his nine years of experience working with them.

Service Express offers a wide range of solutions, including infrastructure services and data center maintenance, to assist customers in maintaining and evolving their digital IT strategies.

Ron Alvesteffer, President and CEO of Service Express, expressed his excitement about the merger, stating that it provides an opportunity to expand the customer base and relationships maintained by Service Express.

Service Express is known for its expertise in global multivendor maintenance, hybrid cloud solutions, managed infrastructure services, and hardware solutions. Their flagship product, ExpressConnect, helps IT teams automate support processes such as monitoring, reporting, partnerships, and account management.

In conclusion, the acquisition of ServIQ represents a strategic move for Service Express, allowing them to enhance their services and expand their reach in the global data center market.

Service Express is a leading provider of third-party data center maintenance solutions, known for its commitment to exceptional customer service and innovative solutions. In order to further enhance its portfolio and expand its capabilities, Service Express recently acquired ServIQ, a company specializing in data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software.

By acquiring ServIQ, Service Express will be able to offer its customers a comprehensive suite of services, ranging from hardware maintenance to software solutions that optimize data center operations. This acquisition aligns with Service Express' strategic goal of becoming a one-stop-shop for all data center needs.

ServIQ's DCIM software provides real-time monitoring and management of critical infrastructure components in data centers, including power, cooling, and network connectivity. This helps businesses proactively identify and address potential issues before they turn into costly downtime events. By integrating ServIQ's software into its existing service offerings, Service Express can provide customers with a holistic view of their data center operations, enabling them to make informed decisions and improve overall efficiency.

Additionally, the acquisition of ServIQ allows Service Express to tap into a larger customer base, as it gains access to ServIQ's established client network. This expanded reach will enable Service Express to continue growing its business and cement its position as a trusted provider in the data center maintenance industry.

Overall, the ServIQ acquisition is a significant step for Service Express in its mission to offer end-to-end data center solutions. By combining its renowned maintenance services with ServIQ's DCIM software, Service Express is well-positioned to help businesses optimize their data center operations and achieve long-term success.

Historically, acquisitions can lead to service disruptions and a dilution of brand identity. While Jeff Reale's endorsement is promising, it's essential to scrutinize how well these two entities will mesh. Will Service Express truly leverage ServIQ's expertise, or will this acquisition become a case study in failed synergies?
