Greetings to all!
Can anyone recommend a reliable European VPS hosting with good performance?

I had a bad experience with fastvps as it had frequent lags and performance issues.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or advice on this matter. As technology advances, hosting services play a crucial role in ensuring smooth and seamless digital experiences for individuals and businesses alike.

A cost-effective option is Hetzner. We have approximately 20 servers hosted with them and have not encountered any issues. However, it's important to note that taxes may not apply in all regions, and adjustments may need to be made accordingly - https://wiki.hetzner.de/index.php/Payment_FAQ/

OVH is slightly pricier, but offers higher productivity and greater stability compared to Hetzner. Though both providers are generally reliable.

In addition to these, I also occasionally utilize the web hosting services of mivocloud.com. They have data centers located in Moldova, Romania, and the USA, and boast an impressive network of partners. Furthermore, their 24/7 support team is known for their prompt and helpful responses, even during early hours of the morning.

For a reliable and lag-free European VPS with an extensive range of admin panels, I strongly suggest contabo.com. Their servers are located across France, Germany, and the UK, and provide ample customization options at reasonable prices. However, what truly sets them apart is their exceptional customer support.

The best place to search for affordable web site hosting plans is the internet itself.
In this kind of tight spot, it is good to evaluate well the web hosting providers.

Are there limitations to the types of software that you can run or install?

Garmtech, a hosting company hailing from Latvia and in operation for over 15 years, is regarded as one of the best hosting providers in Europe. They offer affordable and secure VPS, virtual, and WordPress hosting.

Clients opting for Garmtech can expect top-notch performance, as the company employs SSDs that result in download speeds which are 300% faster than standard drives. The services' options include a free site migration tool, additional backup systems, an intuitive control panel, unlimited subdomains, and a 99% uptime guarantee.

While Garmtech offers many advantages, such as ultra-fast SSD drives, stable servers, modern software and ample disk space, their technical support may not always be immediately responsive, and they only offer an older version of PHP.

Cost-wise, their web hosting rates range from €3.97-€26.52, while VPS rentals range from €13.25-€66.29 per month. Dedicated servers are offered at €33.14-€85.23 per month.

Coopertino, another hosting provider established in 2011, offers virtual VPS/VDS hosting, server rental/administration, domain registration services, and dedicated servers with Trier3 certification in Europe.

Their services range from Linux-based virtual hosting suitable for 1C-Bitrix, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, and DLE CMS, to rented virtual servers running on Intel KVM processors, OpenVZ, and high-speed SSD NVM disks, complete with DDoS attack protection, and cheap dedicated server hosting packages. Additional services include domain registration and paid administration options.

Coopertino's advantages include flexible pricing policies, unlimited traffic, high uptime, fast tariff changes, and php version selection. However, occasional downtime issues, paid administration, and traffic restrictions on dedicated servers are some of their drawbacks.

Selecting the right hosting provider is crucial to ensuring maximum uptime and optimal operations. It's also important to consider provider's additional services and technical support when it comes to selecting a hosting package that is right for your business or personal needs.

One option is DigitalOcean. They offer flexible pricing and the ability to scale your resources as needed. Their droplets are known for being fast, and the uptime is usually quite good. They also have a data center in Frankfurt, which helps with latency for EU-based websites.

Another good choice could be Vultr. They provide a variety of plans at competitive prices and also have data centers across Europe, which is great for performance. Their VPS services also come with a user-friendly interface, making it easy to manage your server.

If you're looking for something more managed, then SiteGround might be worth considering. Although they are known for shared hosting, their cloud plans are reliable and designed for a bit more demanding projects. They have excellent customer support, which is a huge plus, especially when you run into any issues.

Linode is another reputable provider that has been around for a long time. They are known for their strong performance and straightforward pricing. Their servers are also easy to set up, which is beneficial for web designers who may need to focus more on design rather than server management.

Also, I suggest checking out OVH. They are a well-established provider in Europe and offer a wide range of services at various price points. Their VPS hosting is generally well-reviewed for performance, but be aware that customer support can sometimes be hit or miss.
