Hey there, I am searching for someone who can help me transfer my Plesk domain to cPanel. Approximately 7 sites with around 6 GB of data need to be moved manually since I lack root access to the cPanel site.
Additionally, I do not possess a migration program to WHM as a host. Could you let me know what the cost would be?

Providing your Plesk root credentials to your cPanel provider will enable them to use the migration tool to perform the transfer for you. However, if it takes more than 15 minutes to complete the process on the cPanel server, there may be an issue that needs to be addressed, because root access isn't necessary.

The operating systems that Plesk and cPanel are compatible with differ. Plesk works with both Linux and Windows servers, whereas cPanel only works with Linux servers.

Plesk supports various security extensions such as Immunity 360, Fail2ban intrusion prevention, and LDAP/Active Directory integration, while cPanel offers automatic installation of SSL certificates and the ability to create black or white lists for IP addresses.

Regarding backup support, Plesk offers two types of backup - full and incremental - while cPanel offers compressed, uncompressed, and incremental backups.

Both Plesk and cPanel have their unique features and tools, such as Docker support on Linux for Plesk and HTTPS redirects and Imunify360 for cPanel.

In terms of customer support, Plesk offers 24/7 support via phone and official forums, whereas cPanel provides customer support through tickets with a charge for emergency help.

Ultimately, the choice between Plesk and cPanel depends on the user's specific needs and preferences. It's essential to evaluate what features and tools each platform offers and which one fits best for you.

Few options to consider for transferring your domain from Plesk to cPanel:

1. Manual Transfer: Since you mentioned lacking root access and hosting a relatively small number of sites with 6 GB of data, you can manually transfer the sites by backing up the files, databases, and configurations from Plesk and then setting them up again in cPanel. This process may require some technical knowledge and time, but it doesn't necessarily require a migration program.

2. Hosting Provider Assistance: Another option is to contact your hosting provider and inquire about their migration services. Many hosting providers offer free or paid migration assistance to help you transfer your sites from one control panel to another. They can provide you with specific pricing details based on the complexity of your setup.

3. Third-Party Service Providers: If you prefer professional assistance, there are various third-party service providers specializing in website migrations. They can handle the transfer process for you, ensuring a smooth transition from Plesk to cPanel. Pricing for these services may vary depending on the number of sites, data size, complexity, and additional requirements.

I recommend contacting your hosting provider or researching reputable third-party migration services to get accurate cost estimates and discuss the specifics of your migration requirements. This will help you make an informed decision based on your budget and needs.
